Our impact

Sustainability & performance

Verdella home in a meadow, labeled passive-ready, eco-efficient and low-carbon

Eco-conscious

Values is built into every step of Verdella’s process — from materials to construction methods — to reduce environmental impact, support healthier living, and strengthen communities.

Sustainable development goals

Our work aligns with the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), a global framework for responsible growth and climate action. These efforts respond to demand while supporting lasting environmental and social value.

Green features

Verdella approaches sustainability at the construction system level. We are using a smarter, greener approach to development

Sustainable materials

We prioritize materials like FSC-certified wood (30% deforestation impact reduction) and utilize recycled materials like cellulose insulation potential 50% waste reduction).

Sustainable materials

Efficient factory-based construction

Our off-site construction process significantly cuts construction waste (by as much as 60%) and lowers carbon emissions (by up to 40%).

Efficient factory-based construction

Healthier indoor environments

We use low-VOC finishes, reducing emissions by up to 90% and creating a healthier living atmosphere.

Energy & water conserving design

Residents can expect an estimated 25% energy reduction (5,000 kWh/unit/year). We aim for up to 30% reduction in water use per multifamily unit.

1 tree used, 1 tree planted

We build with the forest
not against it

For every cubic metre of timber we harvest, a new tree is planted in certified forests. No offsets, no vouchers — a direct, audited 1:1 replacement, tracked from sapling to structure.

Verdella maintains balance between harvesting and replanting, verified by independent foresters

Replanted forest with new tree saplings

We source structural timber from responsibly managed, FSC-certified forests

FSC certification ensures that the wood used in Verdella’s construction systems meets strict environmental, social, and economic standards — supporting biodiversity and long-term resource availability.
